Over the last five years, Jump collaborated with McKinsey & Co. and Business of Fashion to create a series of special print edition reports. We aimed to produce reports seamlessly combining fabric and paper materials, giving readers a tactile experience representing the fashion industry. We dedicated ourselves to ensuring these reports were delivered with the utmost care and precision without compromising quality.

We spent a lot of time researching and gathering various cloth and paper materials, as well as different print finishes. After compiling and presenting the options to the client, we carefully listened to their feedback. Subsequently, we created and presented several print versions using the selected materials to ensure the final look met their expectations before proceeding with production. The final specifications varied in pagination, ranging from 88 to 144 pages. They were 180x240mm, with full-colour text pages printed on 120gsm Munken Lynx Rough. The outer cover was made of 300gsm Munken Lynx Rough wrapped in various cloth materials (Windsor Morton Navy, Colorado Copper Lilac, Windsor Ulston Light Blue, and Windsor Elcho Gold). Additionally, it was finished with a White/Gold foil stamp for a unique touch and complemented with a PUR-bound finish.

Our final task involved coordinating the global distribution of the reports to ensure timely delivery to various destinations. We were delighted that the reports were exceptionally well-received and successful. From the initial book being delivered to the latest edition, it has been genuinely unique to witness the widespread sharing of the reports on various social media platforms worldwide, reaching and inspiring numerous individuals.

The client requested a limited-edition book sleeve to hold the six reports we've created. They also wanted additional belly bands to provide further details about each report. To achieve the desired look, we used 120gsm Munken Lynx Rough for the outer print and applied it to 2,000mic WL grey board to make the sleeve sturdier. Overall, the finished look of the book’s sleeve and belly bands gave the reports a timeless and sophisticated appearance.
