Chaucer is a prominent speciality (re)insurance group that collaborates with brokers, cover holders, and clients to safeguard and bolster business activities globally. As a part of the China Re Group, a major global reinsurance company, Chaucer is well-positioned with robust financial and operational resources, enhancing its strength and credibility in the industry.
As part of the rebranding initiative, our team created engaging marketing materials that captured the new look and feel. Firstly, we carefully designed a user-friendly web-to-print portal, which transformed the personalisation and seamless global distribution of all branded stationery items. In addition, we put significant effort into developing a visually striking 'Maze' notebook tailored to each office location, effectively amplifying the impact of the new brand aesthetic in diverse work environments. We produced 5,000 copies, distributed to various offices in the UK and globally. The 'Maze' notebook was A5 in size, printed in black throughout on 170gsm Munken Polar Rough for the inner leaves and 700gsm Colorplan Imperial Blue for the cover. Additional enhancements were made to the cover with a blind debossed maze pattern and a bronze foiled finish. Each book was assembled in sets of 50 leaves (100 pages) with a wraparound cover. The look and feel of the finished book truly brought to life the vision that the marketing team at Chaucer aimed to achieve.
