Bloom & Wild is a UK-based B-Corp-certified flower delivery company. They have revolutionised the traditional approach to giving flowers by offering online delivery of fresher, less-travelled bouquets directly to customers' letterboxes. Despite their large customer base, Bloom & Wild remains committed to caring wildly, a value instilled in every employee. Their mantra is that unexpected flowers genuinely are the best kind.
Over the past few years, we have collaborated with the Bloom & Wild procurement and creative teams to create various marketing materials, including public relations collateral and customer mail pieces. Our initial project involved the development of a Christmas brochure to showcase Bloom & Wild's holiday product range to UK and European media outlets. We aimed to create a high-quality booklet with a significant impact while staying within budget. Collaborating closely with the creative team, we produced an impressive 36-page booklet covering the UK and Germany, each sized at 200mm x 280mm. The outer cover was crafted from 350gsm Colorplan 'Racing Green' with two coloured foils, while the text pages were printed on 170gsm Horizon uncoated paper, complementing the stunning photography and layout. The booklet was bound with a stitched finish, and we put a lot of effort into ensuring it had a powerful "wow" factor.
Our second project involved creating offer cards to accompany flower deliveries. The project's main focus was to ensure that all items delivered to the customer were environmentally sustainable. This meant finding a paper material that contained no virgin pulp. We researched and contacted Fenner Papers to source a unique paper material that could be printed on. We ultimately found Paperwize, a genuinely sustainable material made using 100% green energy. This material is created from agricultural waste such as rice, grain, and sugarcane leaves, offering a 100% recycled solution. Finally, we produced 447,500 copies of full-colour A6 offer cards printed on 295gsm Paperwize Natural within a five working day turnaround. We met the client's objectives while adhering to strict deadlines and multiple delivery requests.
